そろばんに挑戦！：Abacus class
今日、1年生のクラスではそろばん授業が行われました。初めてそろばんに触れる生徒さんもいらっしゃいました。
ここオーストラリアでは、そろばんに触れる機会もなかなか無く、とても新鮮な体験でしたね。
このそろばん教室は親子クラスで開催され、父兄の皆さんが生徒さんと一緒に授業に参加されました。生徒さん達は、お父さんやお母さんと一緒に取り組む、いつもと違う授業にワクワクした様子でした。
Today at JLCSB the grade one class have had the opportunity to participate in an abacus class with their parents/ guardians. It was able to see that all students was able to have a fun time while learning how to use an abacus.
*What is Soroban(Abacus)?
The SOROBAN, known as the Japanese abacus in English, is considered to be the first calculator in Japan and has played a significant role in the cultural and educational development of the country.
